Currently, the weakness of three-dimension simulation study of reinforced concrete frame still exists. Based on degenerated three-dimension solid virtual laminated element theory, this project try to explore a method which is general applicability, mechanical concept in clear and effective to simulate of reinforced concrete frame.The main content of this paper as follows:(1) The study of the applicability of limit bearing capacity computing theory of reinforced concrete frame structure system which based on three-dimension virtual laminated element theory with considering bi-nonlinear of the structure, and nonlinear finite element analysis program.(2) Based on the three-dimension virtual laminated element theory, several pier examples of actual bridge engineering on the ultimate bearing capacity are analysed and discussed. From these examples, the cracking load, ultimate load and the three-dimension damage morphological characteristics of the pier are acquired. All above provide a powerful reference for practical engineering.(3) Research on space mechanical characteristics and ultimate bearing capacity of a two-layer reinforced concrete frame structure with finite element analysis program which formatting on the three-dimension virtual laminated element theory. According to the analysis, the space damage morphological characteristics and the ultimate bearing capacity value can provide a reference for three-dimensional simulation study of progressive collapsed of reinforced concrete frame structure system in the next.From the study above, the conclusions are worthwhile to be referred in the three-dimension simulation finite element analysis of reinforced concrete frame structure.
