The role of the tunnel lighting is to reduce or eliminate the pilot tunnel inside andoutside the road,because of the dark and light caused by the visual differences, thepurpose is to ensure that vehicles traveling in the daytime and at night close to thedesign speed to safely through and through the tunnel. Tunnel lighting except in themiddle section of tunnel inside the cave, set the lighting to improve the visualenvironment of the cave, used mainly to enhance the lighting in the tunnel entrance orexit section "light adaptation" or "dark adaptation". With the number, size and type ofhighway tunnel in China have undergone great changes, new theories, new technologies,new equipment, new materials continue to emerge, thus the lighting designer lightingdesign parameters to be further revised and improved.This paper briefly describes the division of the section of tunnel lighting, tunnellighting, energy saving in points of tunnel lighting energy saving methods. Such as theuse of energy efficient lighting、improve road and the wall reflection coefficient、reduce the brightness、adopting reasonable light distribution pattern and efficientlighting、intelligent lighting control、application of energy saving equipment、theoptimization of illumination design parameters and quality evaluation system、goodlighting equipment maintenance work.In the tunnel strengthening segment illumination lighting circuit opening aregenerally larger than a safe and comfortable lighting requirements of lighting circuitcase. This article through to the Yellow Mountain tunnel test research, proposed a noveltunnel lighting quality evaluation index system. Novel evaluation index system consistsof2key parameters,One key parameters is the eye movement measuring of finddistance S,Two key parameters isThe illumination device and brightness meter tomeasuring of qc. Through this evaluation index system for optimizing illuminationconditions. Simpling analysis of the evaluation index system for optimizing illuminationconditions can bring the benefits of energy saving.According to three lane tunnel of Guang Le road based lighting section as theresearch background, Through the numerical simulation and the experimental means forstudying the influence of different forms of light cloth、different height、differentspacing on light utilization coefficient、Average road surface luminance、Overalluniformity of road surface illuminance. According to the law, gives some feasibleenergy saving method.
