In this paper, through the investigation, theoretical analysis,numerical simulation, field test,we study the design idea and method of application of LED lamps and the luminous paint in the tunnel. This paper has done the following work:(1) By studying the corresponding characteristics of digital imaging technology and the external light energy, the calculation method of digital imaging luminance measurement, establish the analysis method of highway tunnel accesszone luminance of digital imaging technology based on.(2) Through the research on the LED lighting and visual characteristics of human eyes, establish human mesopic vision mode under the LEDillumination model, get the human visual effect under LED and high pressure sodium lamp lighting vision based on the corresponding amount, design method of highway tunnel LED lighting is given based on the intermediatevisual characteristics.(3) Through the study of the luminous coating parameters, properties, and obtain the optimal luminous paint used in the tunnel area, to establish the optimal energy utilization rate of luminous energy saving coating of highway tunnel lighting design technology based on the set, lighting energy saving coatings can improve the tunnel average intensity12.8%, maximum12.6%energy saving.(4) The illumination of lighting arrangement, pavement evenness and tunnelspan betwe-en research, established the method of highway tunnel lighting design lighting energy saving coating combined LED lamp, and gives the corresponding design process.
