| Building a big gravity wharf in thebedding rock slope should consider thecomplexity of the bedding rock slope and the mechanical characteristics of gravitywharf. However, analysis of the stability and evaluation were more complex. Thisarticle is combined with one of the science projects of Chongqing—“Instabilitymechanism study and processing technology subject on gravity wharfâ€,which analyzedthe stability of thethe bedding rock slope and gravity wharf with theoretical analysis andnumerical simulation method of PLAXIS. The main work and conclusions in thisdissertation include the following contents:â‘ The stability factors research of the the bedding rock slope. Article analyzed theeffect on the stability of slope with angles of structural plane, the shear strength ofstructural plane, angles of slope, height of slope, and the varying of reservoir water level.The results show that the angles of structural plan and varying of reservoir water levelhave the biggest influence on the stability; the most dangerous structure plane obliquityappeared when slope toe Angle was less than5-10°. The article analyzed the effect onthe stability of slope with the change value and rate of reservoir water level, providingthe the bedding rock slope with the theory of stability analysis.â‘¡The stability research of gravity wharf on the the bedding rock slope. For example,during constructing of gravity wharf, the research analyzed the stability of the beddingrock slope with deep structural plane and searched for latent slide plane with the varyingof reservoir water level. The results showed that the sliding plane gradually moved formthe shallow structural plane to the deep structural plane and the conclusions providebasis for stability analysis on the bedding rock slope.â‘¢The integrated design research of gravity wharf and the bedding rock slope.Based on the theory that reinforcing or removing the structural plane could improve thestability of the slope, the article put forward the method of integrated design research.The way of increasing structure size, rock-bolt and retaining piles can be used tostrengthen the gravity wharf which was under stable on the bedding rock slope. Theresearch makes the comparison of the cost and strengthening effect, and offers3proposals about strengthening, providing references for other similar integrated designresearch. |
