When building highways in mountain areas the stability of various slopes is often encountered,however,due to its complex geological structure,the bedding rock slopes often become the focus of the slope control project.If the stability problem is not solved properly,incalculable damage to the construction and even threaten the safe operation of the highway may be caused.It is of great practical significance to carry out scientific and systematic research on the slope engineering of bedding rock and put forward practical and feasible solutions.With the engineering background of the excavation bedding slope in K21 section of Ziyuan to Xing'an Expressway through site investigation,indoor test,calculation and numerical simulation,mechanical properties,stability,support scheme of bedding rock slope are studied,the main research work are as follows:(1)Through data collection and site investigation,the engineering geological conditions of the research area are summarized.(2)The mechanical parameters of the rock are determined by triaxial test.Through direct shear test,the mechanical parameters of discontinuities are calculated by the relationship between the load and displacement of each set of samples,meanwhile,the formula calculation and empirical analogy are applied to determine the parameters of the discontinuities of the studied slope.(3)The stability of the slope is calculated by limit equilibrium method,the reinforcement technique of bedding slope is summarized,and the reinforcement mechanism of anchor cable frame is studied combined with the reinforcement scheme in the study area.(4)A numerical model is built on the typical slope in the study area to simulate the excavation and supporting process of the slope by using the MIDAS GTS software,its stability,displacement,stress and strain features under different excavation,supporting and rainfall conditions are analyzed and summarized.The rationality of the excavation and support design and the safety of the slope reinforcement are verified,which may provide experience for the design of the excavation of the bedding rock slope in the future.
