The popularity of cars nowadays enable people to travel freely whereas cast severetest on urban transport, GPS vehicle monitoring system could achieve effectivemonitoring and scientific control over people, road, car under the existing conditions,and precise GPS positioning data is the base of effective monitoring and scientificcontrol of vehicle monitoring system, the scientific method of coordinate transformationand model of filtering the data can effectively improve the positioning accuracy. Basedon the method of coordinate transformation in the past, which processed after theGaussian projection, the only plane coordinate system WGS-84coordinate system withthe local plane-one mapping between a simple, this method is lack of support ofgeometric theory. We improved five-parameter coordinate transformation method, thetwo sets of model origin of the coordinate system moved to the geometric center of theknown point in each coordinate system, then the coordinates points distributed evenlyin the two sets of coordinate, and then a series of rotation, translation and scaletransformation were performed which effectively improved the accuracy of coordinatetransformation. In the process of positioning data filtering, put the constraints whichwill restrict vehicle movement information into the road vehicle "current" statisticalmodel, established the constrained model of road information with the Kalman filter. Byexperimental analysis and comparison, verified the filter model after adding constraintscan effectively reduce the positioning error, that’s of great practical application value.
