As the global energy and environment issues is becoming increasingly prominent and thetraditional interconnected larger power system also has more and more defects, the distributedgeneration as an effective supplement to the traditional centralized power generation isgaining more and more attention in many countries. The distributed generation has manyadvantages such as less land occupation, less investment, energy saving, environmentalprotection, short construction period. So it is becoming the development trend in the field ofpower supply. On the other hand, the commissioning of the large number of distributedgenerators will have a significant impact on the safety and stability of regional power systemas well as the network structure, power flow, relay protection, fault recovery. The analysis inthis paper has studied the impact on regional power dispatching caused by distributedgeneration according to the develop trend of distributed generation. In addition, the paper hasalso discussed distributed the energy supply demonstration project of national863plan andthe application prospect of distributed generationproject in Foshan. The main contents of thispaper include:Definition and features of distributed generation, classification of distributed generationbased on power generation technology, discussion on the working principle and features ofseveral widely used distributed power generation technology, analyzing the networksynchronization modes of distributed generators; providing technical requirements of networksynchronization of distributed generators based on voltage, frequency, DC current injection,harmonic currents and so on.This paper emphatically analyzes the effect of regional power network dispatchingcaused by distributed generation in all aspects. Firstly, the paper established the analysis ofinfluence of regional power structure based on the current power structure, which is inducedby distributed generation. Secondly, the paper studied the variation of power flow of regionalpower structure as for different generator output and locations. And then, the influence topower relay protection is to be discussed, after the analysis of current in both normal and shortcircuit condition. At last, aiming at the principle and the request of fault recovery within theregional power network, the paper discussed the effect of fault recovery caused by distributedgeneration.The national863plan of the energy supply demonstration project which is conducted inFoshan is researched. To begin with, the paper studied the plan of synchronization technologyof this project in several aspects, including the operation of gas turbine, synchronization technology and the operation mode. What’s more, it explored the short circuit current underdifferent operation modes, and then discuss the power system protection and its automaticprotection device. Furthermore, this paper points out the application blueprint of thedistributed generation in Foshan according to the distribution of distributed power generationresources.
