As an important aspect of saving electric power and power consumption, reducing lineloss is an important technical and economic indicator for the Power Grid Corporation. It’s notonly one of the vital indicators for judging the quality of power grid, the management leveland the transmission efficiency, but also the theoretical foundation of formulating the powergrid’s expansion, operation and control policy.Currently, the line loss rate in our country is still relatively high when compared with thedeveloped countries in the world so there is a great potential in power-saving. this articlechooses the line loss management of LD power distribution network as the study object, byexplaining the meaning of the line loss and line loss rate,studing both foreign and domesticresearch papers, analyzing the scopes and differences among the line loss calculationmethods of the low voltage of LD power distribution network in35KV,10KV and0.4KVand considering the distinctiveness of agricultural electricity, it presents an improvementsequivalent resistance method. By comparing the actual line loss with theoretical line loss offour typical transformers in LD power distribution network the article indicates the reasonsof high line loss and the corresponding loss reduction measures.Given the severe long-standing unbalanced three-phased loads of LD power distributionnetwork, and the problem of small hydro power occupying the power grid, the article analyzesthe impact of the line loss from those two factors theoretically. This may provide the theorybasis and guidelines for the on-going management of the LD power distribution network, andminimize the line loss. Besides, it can accelerate the power grid construction, improve thepower grid structure, enhance the level of economy operation, strengthen the reformation ofequipment and technique and reinforce the enforcement of reducing line loss in both technicaland managerial ways. This article analyzes all the factors and methods of managing the lineloss of the LD power distribution network, and designs a measurement model for the line lossmanagement of the LD power distribution network.Considering the fact of LD power distribution network the article analyzes themeasurement model for the line loss management of the LD power distribution network withcase materials and data,which help solving the line loss management problem of the LDpower distribution network...
