The development of automobile industry has greatly increased the oil consumption. In recent years, the dramatic increase of household vehicles makes China who is short of oil face greater challenges. For the steady growth of China’s economy and sustainable development, the National Development and Reform Commission has worked out an electric vehicle development program for the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" to greatly improve the development and popularization of electric vehicles which are high efficient, reliable and zero discharge. As the core section in promoting the electric vehicle development, the high efficient, reliable and portable charging power supply has drawn more and more attention.Based on the phase-shift full-bridge controller, this thesis has researched on the full-bridge phase-shift ZVS circuit, and produced a set of charging power supply with high efficiency and reliability which is suitable for electric vehicles. The researches done include the following parts:switching power supply principle based on the soft switching technology; difficulties for the lagging leg to realize ZVS, and methods for the expansion of the lagging leg to realize ZVS based on DC sensing technology; design and calculation of the full-bridge phase-shift ZVS main circuit based on adaptive delay control circuit and the parameters of its high frequency transformer, additional resonant inductor and output filtering inductor; on-line simulation verification on PowerEsim; production of the circuit board; production of the auxiliary flyback power supply based on TOP247. The conclusion shows that under the voltage deviation, light load, even no load conditions, the lagging leg can realize ZVS through adaptive delay control technology, which approves that the adaptive delay control technology can expand the ZVS realization scope of the lagging leg, and promote its efficiency.
