As self-driving tour continues to sweep the world, more people drive themselves for traveling. In some cases, they need a device, which can convert DC voltage into AC voltage, to provide power to the AC load, like notebook PC, adapter, etc. The use of power inverter has brought great convenience to outdoor travel.This paper designs a1000W modified sine wave power inverter, which is suitable for car inverter power supply and small renewable energy power system. The product provides an intuitive LCD display with the function of remote control. The inverter will go into sleep mode if nothing connects its output terminal, load detection circuit keep extremely low quiescent current. Thinking about the safety performance of the product, the main circuit is isolated electrically by the power transformer. The inverter serves the functions like input under voltage, over voltage protection, output over power protection, over temperature protection, which alerts user to resolve the error situation. We use push-pull DC boost and full bridge convert to achieve transforming input DC to output AC. Nanocrystalline magnetic core is chosen for the transformer, which reduces the volume and improves the efficiency of system. We design and achieve two methods to control power inverter wirelessly and compare the advantages and disadvantages of each method.
