With the increasing of the contradiction between supply and demand of energy and the environmental pollution, countries all over the world are trying to develop and looking for alternative green clean energy. Solar energy is one of the most potential energy.At present, photovoltaic power generation is the best main means to use solar energy. Photovoltaic system generated from the stand-alone PV system and building integrated PV application to grid-connected PV system. No matter how to develop application forms, the final purpose is to generate electric power in application. How to monitoring and control the photovoltaic system, become a key about the photovoltaic system’s efficient and stable operation.This paper aims at the small photovoltaic system, through the comparison about the commonly used industrial communication network, puts forward the design of photovoltaic inverter monitoring system based on power line communication; Then, according to the actual application, design a set of scheme; Finally, the paper gives the specific software and hardware design method, verified the feasibility of this scheme.
