This article takes the building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) and architecturalsunshade systems as the research object, on the basic of original solar building designand architectural sunshade research. Investigating solar photovoltaic technology, solarthermal technology and architectural sunshade interdisciplinary technology the theoryof in-depth study and exploration, as well as a detailed description of its development,put forward the problems faced in the development and come out of the solar buildingshading systems. Meanwhile, solar architectural sunshade systems in the designprocess should be noted that the analysis of the theoretical basis of the maininfluencing factors and analyzing the measured data, Bring forward the designstrategy which should be given attention to the system under different circumstances.By introduction of the application and development of solar architecturalsunshade systems and typical case of the solar building architectural sunshade athome and abroad, putting forward the problems and constraints. By means ofanalyzing the problem in-depth and concentrating solar technology introduction,proposing the idea of a new style of concentrated solar photovoltaic and thermalarchitectural sunshade system.A direct cut of the research topics is given in the introduction of the article,introducing the background of topics and obtaining the points of the environmentalproblems in the world today and solar architecture and architectural shadingtechnology development background as well as the need for the development ofinnovative new construction energy-saving technologies. Through the relevantresearch at home and abroad were reviewed and analy zed the research purpose andobject of study and the research methods have been established.In the second chapter, by means of introducing details of the description of thesolar technology and its application in architectural design, putting forward theproblems in the development of building-integrated photovoltaics. Existingarchitectural sunshade classification and do some description of its course ofdevelopment, found the bottlenecks in the application.The third chapter is the first focus of the article. Putting forward the solararchitectural sunshade systems combining solar energy and architectural sunshade.And through a variety of constraints in the system and impact factor analysis, summarizing the main point of design strategies and methods for solar architecturalsunshade systems.Chapter IV inherits the previous chapter’s description of solar architecturalsunshade systems, introducing its application and development, as well as thepresentation and analysis of a typical case of major domestic and international issues,and the challenges faced by the system in the development of solar architecturalsunshade system.The final chapter is another focus of the article, after the conclusions of analysisand the development of new trends of solar technology, proposing the idea of a newtype of concentrated solar photovoltaic and thermal architectural sunshade system.And by means of technical analysis, explaining its main technology areas that must besolved in the implementation process as well as the geographic adaptability.
