Technology Strategy Of The Building Skin Update Research

With the increasing attention of the old building reuse, as a medium of contactingand transforming the building internal and external space, building skin significantlyinfluenced the results of the transformation of the old building. Beacause of thedifferent of culture and traditions, national conditions and the level of economicdevelopment, the design concepts, mechanisms and strategies in china, compared tothe developed countries keep a low degree.This paper contact the existing theoretical research and the status quo of thebuilding skin update at home and abroad,and from the point of view of the technology,set the technology strategy to skin update as the leading direction.This thesis is divided into five parts. In the first part, the research backgroundand significance of the topic, the relevant concepts and categories, as well as researchpriorities and methods are discussed.In the second part, the development status and the theoretical research of thebuilding skin update at home and abroad are discussed, what’s more, the problem inthe theoretical research and practical process is raised.The third part starting from the concept and origins of the roof, and discusses theform of the roof and the design requirements.Moreover, it focus on the transformationof the epidermal roof, including the flat to pitched, roof greening and roof attachedepidermis.The fourth part starting from the concept of the wall, and discusses the type ofwall as well as design requirements, and also describes the link between the materialand the wall design and construction.What’s more, it focus on the technology strategyabout the transformation of the external walls.In the fifth part, two of the actual reconstruction project in Beijing and Shanghaiare described, and a deeper study of the technology strategy about the skin update isdiscussed. Meanwhile, it supports and supplements the previous section.
