| Most of Chinese cities are now in the process of high-speed urbanization, whichstimulates the massive expansion of residential and commercial constructions.Residence and commerce are two important functional elements of a city, the spatialexpansions of which have important influence on the urban spatial structure. Theresearch on the correlation of residential and commercial spatial structure can not onlyreveal the internal mechanism of their structural evolutions, balance the evolutionprocess, but also help reasonably lay out the urban functions, optimize the urban spacestructure, and promote the sustainable development of the urban space structure.Changsha is an important provincial capital and regional central city in MidwestChina, whose economic development has always been above the average andresidential space expands and the perfection of commercial space have become atypical type. As a pilot study of the National Natural Science Funds Projects(51078126), This paper studies the branch of urban spatial structure and structuralevolution of the commercial space theory, which means the evolution of living andcommercial space structure research.It studies the correlation of residential andcommercial space evolution to reveal the relevant mechanism of structure revolutionand to construct new models of the coordinated development by using GIS Spatialcorrelation analysis as the main research method and Changsha as a research object.This article sorts and inducts residential and commercial space data of Changsha,presents clear features of residential and commercial spatial structure layout evolution.It is safely concluded that evolution of residential spatial development have somefeatures: the expantion of central city marginalization, politicalization, zonaldistribution, large scale. Evolution of commercial space development shows somefeatures, such as compound commercial centers, multi commercial centers,commercial centrifugation and suburbanization.Second, by using GIS spatial correlation analysis method, this paper finds thatresidential and commercial space development are correlated and processcorrelation,structure correlation, association correlation are three three correlationmechanisms. Through the residential and commercial space GIS fitting figure, thispaper analyzes the unmatched situation in the evolution of current residential andcommercial space development in Changsha and puts forth some advice on the update of commercial network layout and the theoretical foundation of standard design ofresidential area, the perfection of business space system and commercial state system,construction of independent evaluation mechanism of the rural and urban planningmanagement, the application of scientifical tools and methods, etc. |
