In the increasingly fierce market environment, as individual and diversifiedcustomer demand appearance, traditional mass production mode can not meet theneeds of enterprises, so mass customization mode is gradually paid attention to thecompanies. However, how to quickly design satisfying product at lower costdetermine the win of business in the competition. Product configuration is a majorcomponent of mass customization, and is a means of an effective contactpersonalized customer demands with customized products, and is a key technologyto solve above problems. In mass customization environment, product configurationtechnology for individual demands is researched. The main content is as follows:Firstly, this paper analyses the characteristic, type and access of customerdemand. On this basis, customer orders are clustered and confused transformed, andthen calculates the degree of satisfaction of customer. The above process realizesthe scale of order and customer satisfaction maximization. The ontology model ofcustomer demands is established, and makes demand expression more clear, andwhich lays the foundation for product configuration.Secondly, on the basis of analysis of the concept and characteristic of the productfamily, this paper establishes functional model and structural model of productfamily, and then establishes ontology model of product family, and makes conceptof product family expression more clear and which lays the foundation for productconfiguration. On the basis of the product family updating principle, this paperachieves product family’ update through the analysis of the similarity of the partsand the use condition of the parts, lays the foundation for improving theconfiguration efficiency.Finally, this paper achieves the mapping from customer demands to configurationitem and selection item of product family, and builds configuration rules torule-based reasoning, and obtains the configuration program. This paper uses idealsolution to evaluate and sort the configuration results,and gives the best result tocustomer. This method not only improves the configuration efficiency, reduces the cost, and improves the personalized demand and diversified demand. Finally, thispaper verifies the configuration process through the reducer instance.
