To carry out multi-layer penetration overload signal acquisition technology has a veryimportant significance for high-quality, high-performance penetrator weapons design andprotection engineering design. This article focused on how to obtain the real and effectivemulti-layer penetration overloads during the test.1) The method to get the real and effective multi-layer penetration overloads on thetesting process. Fitst,we have some theoretical study on multi-layer penetration process andthe type and characteristics of the hard target media. Combined analysis of the measuringenvironment, test system design specifications and design principles were given to determinethe overall design. And having a detailed discussion of the sensor module, the hardwarecircuit module and the reliability of the power supply design. Subsequently, designed a bufferdevice for hardware circuit recording module which assemble by aluminum foam filledthin-walled tube because the recording module survivability is very weak. Finally, from thequasi-static compression test and impact test to verify the cushioning properties of thecushioning device.2) The method to extract the useful signal from the test signal. On the basis of theanalysis the composition of the sensor output signal and the simulated signal, summed up thecharacteristics of the penetration signal and proposed the signal processing method accordingto the different needs. For access to the study of rigid body overload, The the processingresults obtained by applyed the method of low pass filtering and zero drift correction is Closeto the actual results. Proposed using the time-frequency analysis test signal which adhesionsin the time domain. The processing results show that penetration time on each target body andtarget plate level information can be obtained.
