As the global economy suffers an extended downturn, market competitions get fiercer than ever. Manufacturing enterprises must guarantee the production system high-efficiency operation in order to have a head start in competitions. Reasonable flow shop production systems scheduling can improve productivity and equipment utilization rate, reduce production costs, therefore flow shop production systems scheduling problem has become one of the core issues for more and more manufacturing enterprises.This dissertation takes the flow shop production system of FoShan company M central air-conditioning business department as the productive practice background, considers flow shop production system scheduling problems. For the problem of AGV system scheduling problem in company M production workshop, the number of AGV has been optimized with the computer simulation method. Basing on basic theory of genetic algorithm, flow shop scheduling problem of company M has been solved by using the simulation software. The main work of this dissertation shows as follows:(1) By using Plant simulation software, the number of AGV in AGV scheduling system of company M has been optimized. According to the layout of the workshop and the actual production situation, simulation model of the AGV scheduling system is created in the simulation software. As the goal of meeting production demands and the highest equipment utilization rate, this dissertation optimizes the number of AGV.(2) Flow shop scheduling problem has been solved by using Plant simulation basing basic theory of GA. Computer simulation model of flow shop is created by abstracting and simplifying the flow shop. As the goal of minimizing the maximum flow time, flow shop scheduling problem is solved by GA module of Plant simulation. The scheduling scheme proposed in this dissertation is validated by comparing with the original processing order.This dissertation solves flow shop production system scheduling problem of company M by using Plant simulation and problems that enterprise encounters in the actual production. The scheduling scheme in this dissertation has been successfully applied to the production of company M. It is expected that the solving method in this dissertation can provide references for flow shop production system scheduling problem of manufacturing enterprises.
