The servo control system is an important field of automatic control system. With the development of science and technology, servo system plays an increasingly important role in modern industrial and military fields. DC motor servo system occupies a leading position in the servo system with its wide speed regulation, excellent starting, braking characteristics and high positioning accuracy. In recent years, the emergence of new semiconductor devices and high-performance digital processor makes digital DC servo system has developed rapidly.The current loop, speed loop and position loop system structure of the DC servo control system are researched based on the DC motor’s mathematical models and driving principle. The feed forward control is designed with the position loop to solve the shortcoming of the tracking performance in the traditional position loop. TI’s dual-core microcontroller F28M35H52C is used as the master chip. The hardware circuit of the DC motor servo control system is designed including the chip minimum system and its peripheral circuits, motor drive circuit, the encoder level conversion circuit and the current signal acquiring and processing circuit. The system software is developed in CCS5.1platform. The oversampling technique is used to improve the accuracy of the current acquisition. The method that combines M and T method together for speed measurement is used to improve the measurement range and accuracy. The acceleration and deceleration algorithm is designed to improve the performance of the motor acceleration and deceleration based on changing the duty cycle of the PWM wave principle. The method that combines integral separation and output limiting is used to improve the anti-saturation in traditional PI controller. The expansion-response curve self-tuning method is used to acquire the PI regulator parameters.Finally, the system is tested on the DC servo control technical to verify the correctness of the system scheme. The results show that the system hardware and software design is reasonably practicable and the control system has a good performance.
