Energy is an important material basis of the survival of mankind and economic development. With the rapid economic growth some problems are becoming increasingly serious, such as energy shortages, environmental pollution and ecological deterioration. Energy saving and environmental protection has become one of the focus of all countries concerned. Traffic accidents occur frequently during snowfall, sleet and freezing rain. In summer solar heat collected by pavement stored in underground soil and the heat is removed from underground to melt snow and ice in winter. This method can not only expand the use of solar energy but also lower the temperature of asphalt pavement. Solar-Heat Storage in Soil Snow-melting System is a new method of snow melting and of great significance for energy saving and environmental protection.Based on previous research this paper introduce Solar-Heat Storage in Soil Snow-melting System in detail and analyse the working principle of the system. Module division of the system has been proposed. There are Ground Heat Exchanger module, Snow Melting Heat Load module and Road Collector module in this system. Each module is analysed and calculated. This paper has used Visual C++language to carry out visualization software of the Snow-melting System with the help of Visual Studio development platform.This software can design needed quantity of tubes of the Snow-melting System and calculate some useful parameters of each module, such as heat-collecting capacity and melting snow load.This software can make engineering technicians design the Snow-melting System without tedious calculation steps. I hope the software research will promote the application of the Snow-melting System and contribute to energy saving and environmental protection.
