Dalian Goodyear Tire Company Limited is a branch company in China one of American Goodyear Rubber Company. According to production and environment requirement, Goodyear decided to build a new plant in Pu LanDian bay industrial park. The company need to build a new66kV substation according to the load requirement.According to the Dalian Goodyear electric power load data and standards, Design a66kV substation including the design of the main line, load calculation, transformer selection, short circuit calculation, primary equipment and secondary equipment selection etc. Based on substation load calculation, select the main transformer capacity. According to the economy and reliability, define main connection mode. Focus on Short circuit calculation, Electrical equipment selection and relay protection setting. Electrical equipment selection include66kV equipment and lOkV equipment. Relay protection setting include transformer protection setting calculate, circuit protection setting calculate, capacity protection setting calculate, microcomputer protection setting calculate, backup power automatic switching, remote control design, DC system design.In this project,66kV equipment chooses GIS,10kV switchgear choose draw out switchgear with vacuum breaker, Relay protection choose Nanjing NanRui Company’s microcomputer relay protection device.
