Research Of Landscape Urbanism Application In Brownfield Regeneration

In twenty century, the rise of industrial civilization brought about the development ofindustrial city, improvement of science and technology, and human life. However, thefollowing industrial activities resulted in global environment problems and ecological crisis,at the same time, due to the change of the economic structure and industrial structure,functional decline of traditional industrial basins under information, and adjustment inindustrial spatial layout in urbanization, some industrial land was abandoned in the centralarea in the city. The disposal of these abandoned industrial land stirred up interest andthinking among ecologists, architects, planners and landscape architects. This research mainlybased on the theory of landscape urbanism dealing with the transformation of abandonedindustrial landscape and the pollution treatment, site planning and etc.Landscape urbanism as the theory in the process of urban, playing a guiding role in thefurther transformation of Chinese cities, especially in the treatment of industrial wasteland. AsChina’s reform and opening up30years, the level and speed of industrialization has furtherimprovement, post-industrial cities gradually appeared in the Yangtze river delta and the pearlriver region, a large number of industrial wasteland had emerged. Landscape urbanism hadmany successful cases in west cities on dealing with industrial wasteland. In-depth analysisand study of successful cases contributed in some great inspiration on the research oftransform of industrial wasteland in China. Combined with field investigation, questionnairesurvey, interdisciplinary knowledge learning, setting zhang zhidong memorial park as actualcase, studying the historical and cultural background, site situation, climate, plants, etc, usingecological design to apply the landscape planning.This paper is mainly divided into seven parts:The first part (Introduction): beginning with the research background and significance of thisstudy, it introduced the research status quo of this subject in and out of our country, and thispaper adopts the research method.The second part (the first chapter): industrial wasteland design.The third part (the second chapter): landscape urbanism theory guidance.The fourth part (the third chapter): ecological technology in transform of industrial landscape.The fifth part (the fourth chapter): case study.The sixth part (the fifth chapter): Zhang Zhidong memorial park landscape design.The seventh part (the sixth chapter): summary and prospect.
