With the rapid development of industrial plastic products, plastic products and people’s livelihood are inseparable. Plastic products are widely used. However, the large-scale production and use of plastic products will arise with a large number of waste plastic, followed by pollution of the environment. How to recycle plastic waste is an important issue people have to face.Plastic has a certain flexibility, higher strength, abrasive resistance and good insulation, so recycled plastic will be broken into particle or powder and added into the concrete, which not only can reduce plastic waste, but also can improve some properties of the natural concrete. It has very important significance to study the material properties of modified concrete with recycled plastic (MCRP). Some studies are addressed on the basic mechanical properties of MCRP. However, there are few studies addressed on fatigue performance, mechanism of damage evolution and checking method of structure of MCRP. In this dissertation, the flexural fatigue performance of MCRP is studied in this paper by test. This paper included the contents as follows:1. Based on C35normal concrete, the plastic particle substituted the fine aggregate in volume in order to study the properties of modified concrete such as the density, the cubic compressive strength, axial compressive strength and flexural strength under the different contents (The volume content is5%,10%and15%)of plastic particle.2. Take a study on the static and constant amplitude cyclic loading experiments of MCRP specimens. It holds that it is significant on the plastic feature of MCRP specimens. The static strain and dynamic strain of MCRP are longer than that of normal concrete. The fatigue life of MCRP is longer than that of normal concrete under the condition that the same stress levels, the greater of the plastic dosage, the greater of the fatigue life of concrete. The strain of MCRP experience variation in three stages under the condition that constant amplitude cyclic loading, the proportion of three stages is10%,80%and10%respectively.3. The statistical analysis is performed, which proved that the fatigue life of MCRP accorded with two parameter Weibull distribution. The S-N curve which can be used to determine the fatigue life of MCRP and the p’-S-N curves with different failure probability are deduced. The double logarithm fatigue equations of MCRP are obtained accordingly. Meanwhile, the damage behavior of MCRP under fatigue loading was analyzed. The observed phenomenon and rules from the tests were explained rationally.
