Along with economic development, the energy issue is more and more for concerning, particularly in the world energy increasingly tense situation. Along with economic development, particularly in the world energy increasingly tense situations, more and more energy issues for concern. From china’s electrical equipment and power production situation implementing the transformer economic performance and saving electricity is effective approach to reduce wastage and solve energy crisis for administration of power supply and important power consumer. It may make tremendous economical benefit and social benefit.Power transformer is extensive used electric equipment in the electricity system. It plays a key role in contacting power network, transportation, distribution and use process. At same time the loss energy of power transformer in working accounts for a lion’s share of the loss energy of the network. The loss energy of power transformer expresses itself in form of heat. During the process of transformers operation, the loss of power will transform into thermal energy, which makes the transformers give out heat itself, and affects the life and safe operation of the transformers. Therefore, the running temperature of transformers needs to be controlled by cooling devices. When the heat is not cooling without delay it can make the temperature of transformer winding going up, cut down the transformer insulation ability, bring about the decrease of the use life of power transformer and lead power transformer faults. Finally it may influence the normal operation of power network. Considering the direct proportion relationship between the transformer winding’direct resistance and the temperature, when the temperature of transformer winding goes up, the transformer winding’direct resistance increases. It simultaneously causes the increasing of the loss energy of power transformer. Despite that the input of the cooling device can effectively increase cooling and low the temperature of transformer windings the normal work of cooling device needs the energy.According to the actual situation of the transformer operation, ensure the safety of power supply under the premise, to make a thorough study of economic operation of transformer cooling inputs, including.The loss of the transformer and the transformer economic operation theory is related to understand.Systematic analysis of interior heating process and temperature distribution of power, as well as the existing transformer cooling method for understanding.Analysis of resistivity with temperature and winding DC resistance and temperature changes in the law, and the transformer copper at different temperatures are discussed economic consumption, transformer cooling investment.The actual situation and the transformer operating procedures according to transformer, oil-immersed power transformer as an example, analyzes the relationship between the average temperature of the top oil temperature and transformer winding hot spot and the top oil temperature and winding, the temperature difference of cooling device of transformer economic switching.According to the transformer temperature control and cooling the economy operation method, combined with a programmable logic controller to realize intelligent control technology, intelligent transformer cooling device design and economic operation of the comprehensive measures.Through the practical application of intelligent transformer cooling device comprehensive measures and economic operation, analyze and summarize its advantages and disadvantages, application prospects of economic operation of transformer.This paper studies the power loss of transformers, the power used to control the temperature and the temperature characteristic of the DC resistance of transformer winding by analyzing the temperature limits of transformers. Then an intelligent control strategy of transformer cooling devices based on economic operation is presented by analyzing the internal relations between the power used by cooling devices and the reduce of the transformer loss power.
