Natatorium is a place which promote physical movement of people and health building. It also plays a important role for the development of competitive sports.Based on thepractical design of the natatorium, this article described how to merge building energy-saving concept, low-carbon environmental design technology, modern means of arts and humanities, appearance architectural design and interior design in order to build a modern natatorium, which is energy-saving, environment-friendly and efficient.It also make people feel that the design seems to transcend the shackles of gravity and the law of the architecture and alien coming down to the earth.The author study the Wuhan East Lake Natatorium based on four aspect: first, design the natatorium as a whole according to the environment of the outer space, which make the natatorium merged withcivilization, that is, it has low-carbon and eco-friendly concept in it.Second,the inner design resolve the problem of combination of inner space and outer space, which make thenatatorium comfortable.Simple and elegant streamlined design practices make people excellent visual effect.Third, the internal lighting design take advantage of the complementary of the natual light and artifact light, which reflects the the concept of modern lifethat is environment-friendly, energy-saving and low-carbon.Fourth, we studied the effective smart management solution of the natatorium from the aspect of the public service,which reflects the the people-oriented principle.The design unique of Wuhan East Lake Natatorium not only in the appearance.butalso in the creative ideas of the internal facilities, which shows the ideas of natatorium design using modern urban culture.The inspiration and idea of the author contains important reference value for the future sports stadium design.
