With the large-scale construction of passenger dedicated line, China entered high-speed railway era, and proposed new requirement to the railway gauge. High-speed railway gauge is one of the most important basic standards, which not only related to the speed and safety of the railway vehicle, but also the security of nearby building and person, in addition, it affected the investment and benefit of the railway project.Vehicle gauge formulation is the most important and basic part of the gauge preparation, it’s also one important part in vehicle design, and the guarantee of security. Based on the accurate and scientific calculation of the vehicle gauge, we can determine the structure gauge scientifically and form a complete gauge standard. The key part of vehicle gauge formation including the choice of the contour、vehicle length、calculation parameter and calculation method. In this article, we choose the CHR2EMUs as the research object, based on the dynamic envelope theory, through the SIMPACK software to analyze the effects of line condition on CHR2EMUs vehicle gauge and vibration characteristic. First, we study the related research, comparing different calculation method of vehicle gauge, and choose the dynamic envelope theory as the calculation theory. Then, establishing a computer simulation model, to analyze the effect of track irregular on vehicle gauge and vibration characteristics, and the effect of railway curve on them.It turns out that, with the speeds increased, the vibration response of the vehicle appears to a gradually increasing trend; CRH2EMU can meet the requirements of safety and stability; Track Irregularities and line curve are two important factors which affect of vehicle dynamic offset; considering of above factor s, modeling line conditions, and calculating vehicle dynamic offset. Finally, drawing out the vehicle dynamic envelope.
