The finite element software ABAQUS and remeshing techniques are used in this paper for O-ring nonlinear analysis under the reciprocating linear sliding sealed,which effectively solve the nonlinear convergence problem caused by the mesh distortion and do research on servo hydraulic cylinderThe effect of the medium pressure, O-ring pre-compression ratio, friction coefficient, and hydraulic cylinder working condition are analyzed on the leakage.Besides, the paper calculate the thickness of the oil film by using elastic hydrodynamic model and determine the amount of leakage of reciprocating seal with the result of the fluid pressure in sealing interface.The last, using the method of fracture mechanics and the FEMFAT fatigue analysis software do life prediction on O-sealing ring.First,the paper do full contact with the non-linear finite element analysis on servo cylinder seals, According to the actual working conditions of sealing ring, Loading conditions of different media pressure, pre-compression ratio, coefficient of friction, sealing gap and the groove radius were simulated. Structural stress and contact stress variation in the different conditions were study.The paper provide some reference for O-ring selection and calculations.Followed, the servo cylinder seals leak under dynamic loading are analyzed.By mean of the fluid One-dimensional Reynolds equation, hydraulic cylinder leakage formula were put out under the Reciprocating linear sliding The paper calculate the thickness of the oil film by using elastic hydrodynamic model and determine the amount of leakage of reciprocating seal with the result of the fluid pressure in sealing interface.And the last,.using the method of fracture mechanics and the FEMFAT fatigue analysis software do life prediction on O-sealing ring. Consider the O-ring under the influence of a variety of factors, calculate and analysis the O-ring of the safety factor and fatigue life. And results were compared for the two prediction methods. According to the study of the O-ring seels,the paper achieved some useful results.The paper provide some practical value for O-ring design improvements and the correct selection. At the same time,the paper also provide a reference for future studies of similar products.
