Land of primary and secondary schools as the basis of city basic education facilities spatial implementation. The layout arrangement and construction in the process of using, in addition to meet the demand of its function, more important is to should play to the social and economic benefits, ensure the integrity of the urban space structure and create conditions for the overall urban development. Problem oriented, this paper combined with the land use situation of primary and secondary schools in Zhengzhou city. Zhengzhou city primary and secondary school education facilities are emphatically analyzed status quo of land use conditions, summarizes the land use characteristics and existing problems, puts forward the overall thinking of the layout optimization of city land using for primary and secondary schools and basic principles, and eventually in space configuration, operating efficiency and development mechanism optimization strategy and policy suggestions are given. So as to promote further optimize and improve the construction land layout of primary and secondary schools in zhengzhou city.The thesis is divided into four parts:The first part, put forward the question. Include the first chapter and the second chapter. Among it, the first chapter is an introduction, introduces the research background, research significance, research methods and research ideas. The second chapter is the summary of theory. Clarify the concept and scope of the study summarizes the domestic and foreign research status.The second part, analysis of the problem, Include the third chapter and the fourth chapter. In view of the Zhengzhou primary and secondary status of land for construction, the use of scientific methods, summarizes the types, regional, scale, factors such as per capita. On the basis of detailed analysis, summarize in primary and middle schools in Zhengzhou city with the main features.The third part, solve the problem. Include the fifth chapter and the sixth chapter. First of all, clear and definite Zhengzhou city schools with the general idea and the basic principle of layout optimization. Secondly, according to the Zhengzhou city schools’problems of land arrangement, formulate corresponding strategies and approaches.The fourth part, conclusion and prospects. Mainly is the seventh chapter of the article. Summary the thesis, and points out the limitation and prospects for future research.
