With the further deepening reform of primary education and teaching,problems such as the traditional campus is separated from the surrounding environment,causes the teaching school facilities during idle,also with the enhancing awareness of lifelong learning,and campus as a shelter for the city value,the openness of schools has gradually attracted much attention.However,the completely open campus has problems such as security problems,noise interference and privacy problems.Therefore,the way of campus opening requires a measure of "degree",which not only enables the campus to provide better environment and facilities for the city,but also strengthens the connection between teachers and students,and at the same time avoids the security,interference,privacy and other problems brought by the complete opening campus.This paper mainly studies the way of the opening of primary and secondary school campus,as well as the control of "degree" of the campus opening,and forms a balanced strategy of the opening degree.The first chapter explains the research background,related concepts,domestic and foreign related research,research significance and research methods.The second chapter discuss the problems associated with openness.Analysis the influence factors of affect the openness of primary and secondary schools,primary and secondary school campus openness of the meaning of balance,can defend a space for development and application,as well as from closed to open all the external space and architectural space.The third chapter discusses the campus open mode.Based on the analysis of the types and composition of the surrounding environment of the campus,the open mode of the campus to the surrounding environment is proposed,so that the campus and the urban fabric around the campus can be integrated,the connection between the campus streets and urban streets,the boundary of the campus and the urban space can be integrated,and even the co-construction and symbiosis of the campus buildings and urban public buildings can be achieved.The fourth chapter,by analyzing the application of defensible space in campus design and the evolution form of campus space from full closure to full opening,proposes design strategies from four aspects of planning layout,streets and lanes,campus boundary and architectural space respectively from the perspective of balanced openness.The fifth chapter applies the research results to specific architectural design projects according to local conditions through design practice.
