The technology of active power factor correction as a forceful measures to suppress theharmonic current, improve the power efficiency. With the quality requirement of electricequipment improving, this technology has been widely applied. In this paper, a zero voltage switching interleaved boost PFC converter topology isproposed. The converter uses two paralleled boost converter unit, can restrain electromagneticinterference (EMI) effectively, when operating at low switching frequency. And with theresonant network the main switch, auxiliary switch and a diode can achieve soft switching, reducing the switching losses and diode reverse-recovery losses, without increase the voltageand current stress. In this paper, the working principle of the zero voltage switchinginterleaved boost converter is described.Based on the proposed Zero voltage switching interleaved boost converter, using aUC3854controller, design a single-phase active power factor correction circuit, output power200W, and calculated the specific circuit parameters. The way of Phase-shifting to drive thecontrol circuit. Obtain two drive signals in boost main circuit, auxiliary switch driving signal, and the circuit is simulated with PSpice software, the simulation results demonstrate thecorrectness and effectiveness of the circuit topology is proposed in this paper.Based on the study of the current loop control, proposed a repeated proportional integralcurrent controller theory. And apply in the boost single-phase AC-DC power factor (PFC)converter. Repeat the proportional integral (PI) controller compared with traditionalproportional integral controller, showed lower input current crossover distortion, low totalharmonic distortion and very low tracking error. The integral (PI) controller is given acomprehensive analysis, and using Matlab/Simulink software simulation. The simulationresults verify the effectiveness of the proposed control method.
