As a big energy consumption of the transportation industry, especially sea transport industry, the annual consumption of energy is considerable. In order to improve the utilization of energy, waste heat of Marine can be used as heat source of refrigeration system and it has been paid attention by the researchers.Ejector refrigeration is very good choice for waste heat utilization refrigeration. It contains less movement components, longer longevity, environmental. So for the recycle of waste heat of marine, the proposal of ejector refrigeration in the form of latent heat recovery was proposed. It uses the waste heat of Marine as the heat source of such refrigerating system. In order to make full use of the condensation latent heat, this paper use R600as refrigerant, do analog computation.To summarize the status of development both at home and abroad and the future development, several aspects including ejector refrigeration theory, experimental research and application research were discussed.Then from the viewpoint of energy application and refrigerant selection, the ejector refrigeration in the form of latent heat recovery was compared with conventional ejector refrigeration equipment.The advantages compared with traditional device was proposed. Besides, for the new kind of ejector refrigeration theoretical analysis and design calculation were considered. The attainable compression ratio of the ejector was confirmed so as to determine the number of injector. In this paper, on the basis of Sokurov calculation methods, the jet refrigeration system was designed, including the number of the injector and the specific size. Then running environment of the injector was analoged, the optimal operating conditions of the system is determined, and the designed injector was put into physical to assemble test rig to verify its properties.The refrigeration system in the form of latent heat recovery is composed of three ejector refrigeration equipments, generator, evaporator and condenser. The data show that compared with traditional ejector refrigeration devices, the latent heat recovery system can save28%of heat, so as to save the ship host and waste heat of cooling water.It not only makes full use of the waste heat but reduces energy consumption which is of great significance to ship energy saving.
