In recent years, with the global energy and environmental problems are paid attention, cityecological construction has been referred to a hitherto unknown height.City ecological park is animportant part of the construction of ecological garden city,on the other hand, it provides acommunication, leisure, travel, meetings and other functions of the city public space for residents,its design is reasonable or not directly affects the construction of city’s sustainable development andecological civilization.The construction of city ecological park in cold area of China is relativelybackward stage, ecological design of the park more than there is a climate impact, the blindimitation of the southern city of unnecessary waste, energy, lack of local characteristic landscapeetc.,City ecological park planning and design theory of the existing lack of cold city targetedspecific, related research is also relatively less, so for the planning and design of city ecologicalpark in cold region of greater realistic significance.This paper adopts the method of combination of theory and practice, with the city ecologicalpark in cold region as the research object, first expounded the theory of ecological park planningand design of cold city, then with cold city ecological park construction conditions, status quo,analysis of the weaknesses and threats, strengths and opportunities of climate factors in cold city,summed up the experience and deficiency cold city ecological park construction. On this basis, thecold city ecological park planning and design should be based on the principle: take the economicallandscape design principles, and to create a suitable winter activity space for the principle, to createa regional characteristic landscape principle. This is based on the principle of three point, from parksite requirements, division, internal structure of ecological landscape design, ecological technologyfrom four aspects of in-depth study and exploration, summed up the cold city ecological parkplanning and design method, provides for the design of cold city ecological park, way of thinkingand process. The method includes:on the side of the choice of park site, we rely on naturalecological conditions of cold city, consider ecologically important places, select areas which canhelp to improve the urban microclimate,keep green corridor continuity of cold city; on the side ofinternal pattern of division,we Propose function partition means according to the different types ofurban ecological park, emphasize the need to closely landscape pattern layout means,Claim theintegrity and accessibility of the requirements of the road system; on the side of landscapedesign,we Accord to cold city climate characteristics and make full use of local natural resources,Propose the thinking which design cold city ecological park landscape from three Respects of theecology, geography, climate.After the ecological restoration planning of Harbin Park as a case, the application of a series of cold city ecological park planning and design principles and methods of research into the practiceof Harbin City, based on local advantages, creating a richly ecology, regional cold city park,combining theory and practice deeply discussion.Through the study of this paper, we extract a set of planning and design method suitable forcold city ecological park, further enrich the theory research content of ecological park planning anddesign of city of cold, so as to provide valuable theoretical guidance and practical reference for coldcity ecological park construction.
