With the intensification of energy crisis and mining accidents, one of important measures that could effectively solve energy saving is energy storage system for mine loading. All of mining devices are energy consumption braking mode through resistance in the early, it has severe fluctuations on DC bus, and due to the dissipation of heat, underground tunnel buried security risk for coal production. This paper takes lifting system in mine for the study, achieves running stability of DC bus voltage through controlling effectively, and reasonable arranges for running mode to achieving optimization design about super-capacitor array.First of all, the application features in the field of mining were explained, the overall framework of super-capacitors which used to mine hoist was proposed, and it also discussed some details, including super-capacitor charging and discharging modes, voltage balance mode, constraint conditions of capacity and so on. The characteristics of monitored object we: analyzed in this system. The fault alarm and protection of monitor object were made clear.Secondly, the selection of key components about bi-directional DC/DC converter were analyzed and calculated by following the characteristics of energy storage system. It established unified small-signal model for single-ended voltage regulator that contained buck and boost mode, and drew bode diagram of open and closed-loop transfer function, designed the parameters of PI regulator in the end.Thirdly, it analyzed for the particular load conditions of mining, and extracted the data of regenerative process, explained the distribution relationship among super-capacitor, power grid and chopper resistance by utilizing S-type membership function that is used in fuzzy logic, simulated the operating status of energy storage system in two different applications that contained monomer and public, carried out optimal configure of super-capacitor array’s capacity under time node concerning on different running state of multi-machine.Finally, bi-directional DC/DC converter as the core of storage experiment platform, that key technologies of hardware and software were studied, and described from three aspects among bi-directional DC/DC converter circuit, U disk storage and interface analysis. It conducted the related validation experiments after completing the design of key components, observed and described for the stability of DC bus voltage, the correctness of charging-discharging process, data storage and display function of off-line interface.
