Carbody is the main structure of high speed train,Thevertical load,coupler longitudinal load,loads from track and the loads from car equipment are applied to carbody when the train is running.In order to improve the safety and reliability of carbody, fatigue research of carbody,especially the load spectrums,is very important.This paper introduced aluminum alloy carbody welding, load spectrums, fatigue strength theory,fatigue test and fatigue strength evaluation of carbody.A finite element model of carbody is established in this paper, obtaintime history of loadsfor different cases from the rigid-flexible coupling dynamic model, then get the dynamic stresses of some key positions from the finite element model by transient analysis in ANSYS, evaluate the damage cause by dynamic stresses.Getting the time history of loads in start-up and braking from the dynamics model formed by8cars, analysis the characteristic of longitudinal coupler force at different position,through the transient analysis, getting dynamic stressesof different positions, analysis the fatigue strength of carbody.
