Based on the further study on micro-feed actuators home and abroad,a new type of micro-feed driver—hydraulic is developed in this dissertation. After the analysis on its service performances, the research puts forward the design criteria and developes its structure design. With the help of FEA and many experiments, driver stiffness and its characteristics are analyzed deeply. The major works have been done in this dissertation are as follows:1.Based on the theory of mechanics of materials and elastic mechanics, the research derives the theoretical formulas of functional dimension of hydraulic micro-feed actuator, and also acquire it’s design criteria.2.With the help of ANSYS,output and input characteristics, axial stiffness and radial stiffness are analyzed. The results show that output and input characteristics are linear relationship. The actuator has high Radial stiffness and radial stiffness.3.The actuator is fabricated.Experiment results show that it has no hysteretic phenomenon and the actuator has a good stabilization and output coincidence.4.Through the mode experiment, the nature frequency and mode of actuator are acquired, the 1ST frequency is 150HZ which is far more higher than the frequency caused by circμmgyrate of axis of lathe.5.The hydraulic micro-feed actuator is applied to the precision machine.By measuring the surface morphology of workpieces, service performance of driver was verified. Its resolution and stiffness respectively can reach to 0.016μm and1.0×10~9 N/m.The research on the structure and characteristics of hydraulic micro-feed actuator has important theoretical and realistic significance to develop it and extend the use,to promote development of precision and ultra-precision machining and metrical technique.
