Since the reform and opening-up, China’s economic has always been in a state of rapid growth, the Bridge construction also has developed at high speed. In many of these bridges which have been built, the small and medium-span girder bridge building up a large proportion. In survey of these bridges,it indicated that, influenced by the old-low load design specifications, weather erosion, overloading problem and so on, these bridges have to enter the aging period.Very large propotions bridges have taken place in varying degrees of damage, general aging of materials, features a severe recession has greatly affected the load carrying capacity and safe operation.How do these "sick" bridges the "medical examination" has become imperative.On the basis of Collected at home and abroad in a wide range of research studies, this paper upon the current carrying capacity of bridge detection method,accoding to the existing load test theory, by means of finite element analysis ,to study and explore a rapid detection method in the purpose of Simple, fast, economical and effective.The main research contents are as follows:1. Discussion bridges detection methods at home and abroad, summed up their relative merits.2. On the basis of the traditional calculation theorys of the bridges carrying capacity, Proposed nearly-static load test to acheive bridges’ rapid detection method.3. Accoding to the data of test on the four bridges of schort in Central Shanxi Plain to verify the feasibility of this article by comparing the tradition and new test result.4. programming the secondary development of procedures in ’Excel’environment to Simplify the complexity Calculation of Beam Bridge load test.The fast-detection research provided technical support for improving the maintenance and conservation of the builted bridge. This method can effectively shorten the time a traffic jam and reduce the testing cost. It has a certain socio-economic significance.
