Objective: To excogitate a good method for canine dermatomycosis in LuoYangregion, cases of canine in the region were investigated, the breed of pathogen and law ofpathogenesy were analyzeed, and susceptibility testing and curing test were carried out. Methods:The investigation includes basic information of infected canine, suchas breed, gender, age, time, etc.Taked photmic, roscopic observation and microbecultivation and distinguish different kind of dermatoses and pathogen. And thenconducted statistical analysis for obtained data and drew charts.susceptibility testing of isolated different breeds of fungal was carried out(4Antifungal Agents of ketoconazole, clotrimazole, nystatin and terbinafinehydrochloride).fungal was cultivated in SDA medium for5-7days at28℃.And thenrecorded the result.Cases with similar symptom were treated respectively withketoconazole, clotrimazole, terbinafine and hydrochloride. Cephalexin was taken orallydaily. And Lesion materia were obtained for the detection of fungal at7d,14d and28d,and the extent recovery was observed. The rate of healing, excellence and clearanceof fungal were calculated.Result:1.The clinical dermatoses investigation shows that during the wholeinvestigation period, among the total5745cases,originial dermatoses are867cases(15.25%).During the four months of June,July,August and September, dogs withdermatoses are531cases,which is60.62%of the total dermatoses cases. The ratio ofmale to female is451:425.Most infected dogs are under4years old(73.29%).Differentbreeds have different susceptibility for disease. The incidence for Pekingese(11.87%) isthe highest and followed by Tibetan mastiff (11.19%)and Chow(9.13%),and infectedsites mainly focused in Limbs, Ears and face.Diseases mainly caused by fungal andbacterial infection.Totally there are417cases of fungal and bacterial mixedinfection,200cases of acaridan and bacterial infection,132cases of fungal and bacterial infection and116cases of bacterial infection.2. The clinical dermatopathy investigation shows that original high incidence is inthe period from June to August(224/417). The ratio of male to female is51:49.The rateof incidence under4years old is73.29%. The infected sites mainly focused inAbdomen(98), Neck(79) and Back(69). The incidence3breeds are Pekingese(20.14%),Tibetan mastiff(16.78%)and Poodle(13.43%).The result of pathogen identification are128strains of Microsporum canis,96strains of Microsporum gypseum,86strains ofTrichophyton mentagrophytes,31strains of Malassezia and44strains of Candidaalbican.3.The susceptibility testing in vitro shows that terbinafine is the most effectiveagainst Microsporum canis and clotrimazole is the most insensitivity. Terbinafine is themost effective against Microsporum gypseum and nystatin is the most insensitivity.Terbinafine and clotrimazole is the most effective against Trichophyton mentagrophytes.Ketoconazole and Clotrimazole is more effective against Malassezia.4.The result of treating shows that treated with terbinafine the rate of healing, excellence and clearance of fungal are all the best.Treated with terbinafine for21daysthe rate of healing, excellence and clearance of fungal are respectively80%,90%and90%for Microsporum canis,80%,100%and100%for Microsporumgypseum,90%,100%and100%for Trichophyton mentagrophytes.Conclution:1.The original high incidence of canine dermatomycosis anddermatosos in LuoYang region is in Spring and Summer, and the most infected dogs areunder4years old.2. Microsporum gypseum, Microsporum canis and Trichophyton mentagrophytesare the main pathogen of anine dermatomycosis in LuoYang region.3. Terbinafine effective against Microsporum gypseum, Microsporum canisTrichophyton mentagrophytes. And Clotrimazole is more effective against Malassezia4. Terbinafine is effective against anine dermatomycosis in LuoYang region.
