Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV) is one of the most devastatingviruses of cultivated tomatoe in the world, and it has become the limitingfactor on the production of tomato in both field and protected cultivationsystems. Recent years,TYLCV has resulted in great economic losses, and itis spreading towards north from south in China. Disease-resistant breedingis the most effective and direct method to deal with the disease up to now.Several cultivation methods of tomato intercropping with celery areoperated to study the differences of tomato growth, fruit setting, yield,disease index of tomato yellow leaf curl virus and the Bemisia tabacipopulation density. Combined with the use of chemical control, tomatoesinterplanted with celery and find the best way to inhibit the tomato yellow leaf curl virus disease occurred. View tomato onset of symptoms and the useof PCR assay to determine the infection of tomato by the yellow leaf curlvirus disease.The results show that tomato intercropping with celery reducethe incidence of tomato yellow leaf curl virus disease to a certain extent, and,the higher the celery planting density is, the reducing effect is more obvious.Among them, the intercropping approach of tomato every two furrowintercropping with celery and greenhouse surrounded by celery is the best.Tomato yield, plant height, stem diameter, fruit setting rate of the firstinflorescence, fruit weight are increased by12.43%,1.72%,14.56%,22.70%,7.14%; average intercropping control disease effect of tomatoyellow leaf curl virus disease is21.61%; the number of B. tabaci per plantdecreases by25.58%than the control. Planting tomato intercropping celeryand take2times in a row with25%Thiamethoxam Thiamethoxam waterdispersible granules of500times the spray, the better to extend the efficacyof play time, the control field the number of B. tabaci, prevention andtreatment of tomato yellowleaf curl virus disease.
