Abstract/Summary:
Pseudosciaena crocea was very sensitive to environmental stress. During typhoon, cage-cultured P.crocea died seriously from drastic water unrest and suffered heavy losses. In order to study the stressresponse and injury treatment, water unrest stimulation (WUS) causing by a Typhoon-simulated-devicewas given to P. crocea in July2009.A Typhoon-simulated device was designed (Patent number: ZL201020550153.0, China) forproviding water-unrest indoors. The effect was examined through giving uninterrupted stimulation to P.crocea. This device was convenient for assembling, easy to operation, and efficient on water recycling.Moreover, it could export stimulation with different intensity which was similar to the water unrest causedby typhoon range from6to10-grade.The blood biochemical of P. crocea which suffer a tenminute WUS were detected at different timeafter stimulating. CREA, AST, and CHOL showed significant changes. CREA increased significantly(P<0.05) at first and then decreased, the peak value was appeared at0.5h, which was28.8±1.2μmol/L.After1h, CREA had no significant difference between experiment and control group (P>0.05). The resultindicated that although the kidney function was declined, but there maybe no substantive damage to kidney.AST increased significantly from63.3U/L at0h to415.7U/L at24h (p<0.05). CHOL decreasedsignificantly from10.1mol/L at0h to3.5mol/L at24h (p<0.05). These indexes reflected the injuries ofliver.Through7d medicine bath experiment after the unrest bruises (dipping duration: Every day1h; drugconcentration: Florfenicol20g/m~3, Nutgall3g/m~3; Rhubarb3g/m~3, nutgall3g/m~3). The results showedthat the control group average survival rate was21%. The average survival rate of Nutgall, Nutgall/rhubarb,Florfenicol respectively are59%,48%and48%(P<0.05). The results indicated mildew and bacteria withinthe wound was restrain or kill by Nutgall, Rhubarb, Florfenicocan. Nutgall, Rhubarb, Florfenicocan couldaccelerate wound healing, and improve survival rates.In breeding experiments (every100g fish feed, add purity of10%Vc100mg; purity of98%Betaine300mg). At the end of the experiment, the weight and length of P. crocea(580d)had significant differencebetween experiment and control group (p<0.05). Survival rate of the experiment group was54.4%,whereas the survival rate of the control group was only21%. The weight and length of Sprausmacrocephalus (665d) had significant difference between experiment and control group (p<0.05). Thesurvival rate of the experiment group was88.1%. It was improved by11.7%. The results indicated Vc,Betaine cannot only promote the growth of P.crocea and S.macrocephalus, but also enhance the stressresistance.
