A Research Of Land Consolidation Quality Potential Based On The Theory Of The Agricultural Land Gradation

Land consolidation use the engineering or other technology means to realize the cultivated land sustainable development model which exploit inside potentialities to increase area and improve the quality of cultivated land. It is also the important means to relieve population-land contradiction. Scientific and reasonable land consolidation quality study can not only enrich the land consolidation potential research system which transfer studies focus from number potential to equal attention to number and quality potential, but also can provide basic information for the land renovation plan and food security strategy. This paper have analyzed the connotation of the quality potential of land consolidation,the methods of farmland classification of Jiangjin district and the regional differences of related factors affecting the quality of cultivated land based on the theory of farmland classification. Because of the difference of topography, light temperature and climate potential have obviously overtical difference. The northern due to lower altitudes have more heat and the south is opposite. The slope is larger in south and north low mountainous regions.but little in the central Yangtze river valley or hilly area. Yellow soil is mainly distributed in the low mountains in southern,low anticline hill and both sides of the Yangtze river terraces; Purple soil distributed in hilly area and low mountains in southern province; Fluvo-aquic soil distributed mainly in level 1 terrace along the river and the dam; Rice soil are centralized in the hilly region, particularly in shallow hill-based, broad valley, terraces, even dam and other regions. This article selects the cultivated land gradient and the effective thickness of the land consolidation soil as the potential evaluation factors and quality classification indexes. Based on the classification results of agricultural land and combining the second survey of land utilization.the article estimated the natural quality level of cultivated land of streets and towns in Jiangjin district. The results show that natural quality of cultivated land and land consolidation real quality potential distribution have obvious regional differences in Jiangjin district. Larger potential streets and towns mainly distributed in the area of south middle mountains and north low mountain.The little potential distributed mainly along the middle Yangtze river. Studies suggest that reasonable land renovation plan should be based on distribution characteristics of the land consolidation quality potential. It is also should strengthen land consolidation and increase investment in real land consolidation quality potential areas in order to improve the grain production conditions of cultivated land and improve yield.
