Sea cucumber is a kind of important valuable echinoderm and was called "genseng in the sea". Sea cucumber foods on Algae and so on, so it also plays the crucial role in sea ecology system. In the world, there are about1400sea cucumber species. According to the distribution district of sea cucumber, they are divided into temperate holothurians and tropical ones. of these holothurians, around50species are suitable for eating by human being. most of these edible holothurians came from Stichopus (Stichopodidae), Holothuria, Actinopyga and Bohadschia (Holothuriidae). China is an essential country that going on holothurian culture and consumption.80%holothuria trade mount were from Hongkong.Because of high economic value, wild sea cucumber were becoming more and more scarce, many countries focus on sea cucumber cultivation, especially China and Japan. Stichopus japonicus and Holothuria scabra Jaegrare two mainly sea cucumber cultivated. In China, many districts began cultivate S. japonicus, especially in Shandong Province, Liaoning Province.Stichopus japonicus, is the most important valuable sea cucumber in temperate area and has a long history in our country. It distriburtes in Liaoning, Hebei and Shandong. Scylla paramamosain, a kind of mud crab, also has high economical value. Because of these species’important significance for local economy, many local goverments are encouraging faromers to cultivate them, especially Stichopus japonicus. But the impact on them by human beings, wild resources were making them becaming more and more scarce and the low genetic diversity is a alarming problem. In this paper, we isolated some microsatellite loci from S. japonicusand Scylla paramamosainwith microsateilite library method. We analysized the population genetic diversity of Scylla paramamosain, too. We believe that these microsateillite loci can be employed in the population genetics, wild animal resources protection studies in S. japonicus and S.paramamosain.
