In2010, the State Council explicitly put forward the call to improve the level ofagricultural equipment in our country, and the development of facility agriculture waslaid as the focus of modern agriculture in the12th five-year plan, The facilityagriculture, whose development has been to the benefit of the promotion of the annualbalanced supply of agricultural products with the better resource utilization, and hashelped farmers increase productions and incomes.This paper looks into the status quo of the facility vegetable production under thesome towns of Fuding City, from the aspects of facility agriculture supporting policy,facility vegetable cultivation scale, facility planting industry structure, vegetablequality, vegetable processing, labor force, and the promotion of agriculture technology,etc.According to the current situation, the existing problems including the lack ofsupporting policies, the insufficiency of equipment scale, the low-level ofmechanization, the seriousness of diseases and insect pests, the low proportion ofvegetable under deep processing, and low-level social service for production areillustrated in this paper. Compared to the advanced area, facility vegetable in Fudingstill has a long way to go. To help solve the problems above, provide more suitabledevelopment strategy, and optimize the development mode of facility vegetableproduction of Fuding City. The paper puts forward some effective settlements andapproaches, relating to the features of local natural environment factors including theland, water, climate, etc. and the specific information about economic conditions,social labor forces, market demands and so on, referring to the experience of thefacility agriculture at home and abroad, deeply analyzing the advantages anddisadvantages of the development of facility vegetable in Fuding City, discussing itsdevelopment mode, scale, layout, the cultivation of comprehensive quality ofproducers, vegetable processing and marketing, and the establishment of the vegetableenterprise brand, etc. This paper is to provide the more appropriate developing modelfor facility vegetable of Fuding City so as to optimize the development model of facility vegetable and to make it develop toward a more healthy direction.
