This study aimed to increase the value of the use of cottonseed meal and developderivative products of it. First, we use aniline and ether extraction technology toextract gossypol from cottonseed meal. Refined gossypol acetic acid will be detectedthe structural characterization by spectrum of instruments and modern spectroscopic,And gossypol acetic acid was further studied on antioxidant and cell proliferationactivity. After that, we collected the cottonseed meal which extracted gossypol, andproducted cottonseed peptide using solid-state fermentation of Aspergillus nigerAS3.350. In order to determine the optimum fermentation conditions, we measuredvarious indicators of cottonseed peptide, and wished providing a theoretical basis forindustrial production.Main results as follows:(1) the purity of extracting refined gossypol acetic acid by aniline and etherSoxhlet were99.2%,96.7%, and extraction rates were63.4%,57.5%.(2) The storage conditions of gossypol acetic acid is dark, cold, and soaked byether.(3) Gossypol acetic acid has a certain extent on human T lymphoma cell line(Hut-102). the half inhibitory concentration is4.04μmol/L, and the inhibitory effectgradually increased with time.(4) Aspergillus can be inoculated into substrate of solid fermentation, when itgrown16h in Czapek medium. At this point the cell was at the period of vigorousgrowth.(5) The optimum fermentation conditions of solid-state fermentation ofAspergillus niger’ were that:90%content of cottonseed meal, PH5.9,31℃,96hfermentation time; At this point the peptide conversed rate is67.5%, and the proteaseactivity is475U/g.
