This paper has studied the influence of solid-state fermented cottonseed meal for free gossypol and protein quality, as well as carried on feeding experiment for growth pig.Chapter I:The experiment has studied the effect of free gossypol in cottonseed meal by high-temperature treatment, Aspergillus niger fermentation of cooked and uncooked cottonseed meal. The results showed that fermentation of uncooked cottonseed meal group compared with control group, high-temperature treatment group and fermentation of cooked cottonseed meal group respectively, free gossypol content decreased584.67mg/kg,4.62mg/kg and550.14mg/kg(P<0.01)respectively. These results dedicated that fermentation of uncooked cottonseed meal can decrease free gossypol obviously.Chapter II:The effect of free gossypol content by different strains fermented cottonseed meal.Cottonseed meal was fermented by Lactobacillus, Yeast, Bacillus and Aspergillus niger respectively, and then chose Lactobacillus and Yeast to carry on simultaneous fermentation for researching on free gossypol content. The results showed that Lactobacillus group compared with control group, Bacillus group, Yeast group, Aspergillus niger group and simultaneous fermentation group respectively, free gossypol content decreased692.07mg/kg,193.62mg/kg,23.23mg/kg,107.40mg/kgand184.43mg/kg(P<0.01)respectively. These results dedicated that Lactobacillus fermentation can decrease free gossypol obviously.Chapter III:To study Lactobacillus conditions of fermentation. This experiment explored the influence of parameters(temperature, time, pH et al) for free gossypol, crude and peptide. The results showed that the best fermented conditions were37℃,48h and pH6.0.In this conditions, free gossypol content decreased from949.33mg/kg to231.82mg/kg, detoxification rate was75.58%,protein quality was also improved.Chapter IV:60growing pigs were randomly assigned to four dietary treatments with four groups and3replicates with each group, feeding basal diet, fermented cottonseed meal replacement20%and30%soybean meal, cottonseed meal replacement30%soybean meal respectively(control group, test I group, test II group and test III group). The results showed that compared with control group, daily gain and intake were not significant difference(P>0.05). In feed conversion ratio aspect, test I and test II were not significant difference(P>0.05), test III increased5.42%(P>0.05).The residue of free gossypol was6.5mg/kg in blood serum of test III group, but blood serum of test I and test II was not detected. These results dedicated that there is no influence for performance of growing pigs by feeding fermented cottonseed meal replacement part of soybean meal in formula feed.
