The Study And Analysis On Production Situation And Sustainable Development Countermeasures Of Seedlings Of Mitten Crab In Nantong

Since the abundant nutrition and delicious taste, the river crab obtains widespread favor from many consumers, and it is an important object of multiplication and culture now. In China, the river crab distributes vast regions, but its oviposition sites mainly locate along the Yangtze River estuary、the Yellow Sea and the Bohai sea where the salt water and fresh water meets. So Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Liaoning, Hebei, Tianjin, Shandong are the great producing areas of natural Crab, especially in those places which locate in the Yangtze River valley, Liaohe River valley and Oujiang River valley. According to statistics, the station of artificial breeding mainly concentrated in Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province, Liaoning Province and Shanghai Municipality, among which the output of Jiangsu Province accounted for more than85%of the country’s total output. At the same time, the turnput of crab of Nantong City which is one of the main producing areas of Crab in Jiangsu Province accounts for20%of the total output of Jiangsu province. Therefore, the production of larva of crab has become an important pillar industry of aquaculture in Nantong, and the scale of its production and the technology breeding state of development is closely related to the income of the crab farmers and local revenue. As a consequence, it’s significant to study the strategy of sustainable development about breeding crab for Nantong city. In Nantong, the most larva of crab which come from Yangtze River valley can grow better than those larvae which come from Liaohe River valley. So, the crab of Yangtze River valley is the main category of current aquaculture in China because of its large size, high output and delicious taste. However, the supply of larvae has always been restricting the expansion of artificial aquaculture area and the increase of production since1980s in China. But, in recent years, the technology of breeding including breeding in natural seawater, breeding in artificial seawater, breeding in pond and industrialized breeding had broke through bottlenecks. Thus, the production of larvae of crab had changed from lack into overplus, what has attracted scholars and the industry’s attention. The process of development of breeding crabb and difficulties encountered in Nantong are similar with it in the rest of the country. Therefore, the achievements of researching the sustainable strategy of breeding crabb of Nantong have positive meaning so as to instruct the industry of breeding crabb for other parts of China. After developing for20years, the industry of breeding crabb industry has formed a system of specialization which includes industrialized breeding, ecological breeding in an earthen pond, the food for breeding larvae, disease control and sale. At the same time, the degree of intensive of industry and the production of breeding has been improved more. All of above lead to the resolution of the resource of larvae. However, some problems such as excessive rapid development, uneven qualities, excessive productivity, poor condition of sale also appear, what cause high yield don’t bring high percentages. What’s worse, the degree of deficit increases year by year. Therefore, it’s the most pressing matter of the moment to ensure that the industry of breeding river crab can development with the healthy, stable and orderly condition for government and enterprises.This paper summarizes the experiences and lessons during the process of development of the industry of breeding crab by analyzing the current condition of industry of breeding crab and future strategy of evolution in Nantong. Meanwhile, it advances some ideas about the producing of larvae and related industry in Nantong so as to resolve the existing matters at present. What’s more, according to actual economic situation and trends of market, this paper raises future direction, aims, keystone of strategy, program and disposition about the producing of larvae and related industry. Besides, this article brings up the methods and suggestions to make sure the sustainable development of production of breeding crab in Nantong.According to the analysis of this paper, the crab farmers, local government and other related organization must cooperate so that they can make the industry of breeding crab of Nantong developing steadily. In the meantime, the scale of breeding crab should be properly compressed so as to produce in accordance with demand and develop orderly. More importantly, people should pay much attention to breed parents of high quality, select fine breeds, improve the ecology of water, foster nature diet of high-quality, improve the quality of larvae, reduce costs of production, discipline and supervise market etc by the support of technique and policy, what will promote the sustainable development of breeding crab and other related industries in Nantong.
