Cyclina sinesis Gmelin is a kind of ideal cultural benthic mollusca, living in nature is not abundant, but there are great of demand of high quantity of clam fry. Our research mainly contains time of parent shellfish temporary-keeping, spawning methods, water quality treatment, food culture, lavare attachment and substrate. The author focuses on the research and experiment of artificial reproduction and seeding nursery.The selection and temporary rearing of parent shellfish are the main points of artificial breeding shellfish. The best one is about3cm long, strong, sexual maturity, with the age of2or3instars. The time of temporary rearing will be2or3weeks, which the most of parent shellfish finished their gonad development, at the same time inducing spawning.The most effective induced spawning method of Cyclina sinesis artificial propagation is ordinary temperature, shadow, water stimulation, and dark environment. In seawater, the effect of induced spawning hatching is the best; there are little sperm emissions in the mixture of well water and deep well water; spawning cannot be existed in the mixture of well water and deep well water; the effect of induced spawning is not very well in the artificial seawater (mixed by well water and deep well water). The water of artificial nursery should be disposed in strict rules. The ordinary method is sand filter (physical method), or chlorine to kill (chemical method). This paper makes a comparison between these two methods, and they all work well in hastening parturition and hatching. The chemical method has far better effect than the physical method, so it is the best method.In factory, the metamorphosis settlement of larva breeding works in the indoor cement pool. The larva will grow faster and survive well by moving from the indoor pool to the outdoor one. This method uses the tool well.Cyclina sinesis is filter-feeding bivalves, which has no selection of food. The growth and survival of larva are best with nature food. The second is the mixture of chrysophyte and platmonas. The third is chrysophyte. The worst is platmonas. The mixture of algae works well in the growing of larva, and the natural algae added in the mixture can make the larva a balance of nutrition. In the different sediment experiments, the clam fry has a strong adaption of sediment. The survival rate in different sediments is all100%, and the larva grows well. Of all the sediment, the argilloarenaceous is the best. The ooze sediment works well in produce. And in this way, the work of thinning out young larva will be an easy case.The research works well from2004to2006. There are5256million dual pipes spat, with the average standard570.44μm and the survival rate is78.3%. In2005, there are3276million witnessed by the well-famous scholars and experts from Shanghai Ocean University, East China Sea Fishery Research Institute Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, and Jiangsu Marine Fisheries Research Institute etc. The scale, quantity and technique are all the best in China.
