Wheat stripe rust, caused by Puccinia striiformis Westend f. sp. tritici Eriks, is a major worldwidedisease that is our country main diseases on wheat production. Cultivation and promotion of resistantcultivars is the most economic safe, simple and effective measures on controlling of diseases epidemic.Due to selective pressure, the resistant cultivars often lost their resistance to disease. The research ondomestic and foreign production of observation indicated that some wheat cultivars were not entirelyresistant to wheat stripe rust, but can reduce the loss. These cultivars are generally performed forquantitative disease resistance that is able to maintain a longer duration (more than ten years or evendecades) instead of “loss”.Based on previous reports on stripe rust durable resistance of20cultivars (Yeoman, MairsHuntsman, Holdfast, Maris Widegeon, Litte Joss, Champlein, Hybrid de Bersee, Flinor, Vilmorin27,Elite-Lepeuple, Desprez80, Flanders, Bouquet, StarkП, Luke, Nugains, Atou, Jubilar, Pagoda, andLibellula), temperature sensitive minor gene and gene postulation in seedling to wheat stripe rust weredetected. Genetic analysis and QTL location of Vilmorin27in adult-plant resistance to stripe rust areanalyzed. The results are as follows:The results showed that Holdfast contained Yr1and unknown resistance genes; Yr3and Yr4mayexist in Bouquet; six cultivars (Atou, Flanders, Maris Huntsman, Bouquet, Holdfast, Elite Lepeuple)contained Yr2; three cultivars (Flanders, Bouquet, Vilmorin27) contain Yr3and unknown gene; Yr2+YrHVII with highest occurrence frequency maybe present in six cultivars (Atou, Flanders, MairsHuntsman, Bouquet, Elite-Lepeuple and Holdfast). The other tested cultivars may contain unknownresistance genes or gene combination. The results of detection on temperature sensitive minor gene showed that six cultivars (Yeoman,Champlein, Jubilar, Luke, Nugains, Pagoda) didn’t contain temperature sensitive gene. Three cultivars(Bouquet, Stark, Libellula) contained one pair of temperature sensitive gene.Ten cultivars (MairsHuntsman, Flanders, Holdfast, Hybrid de Bersee, Desprez80, Flinor, Elite-Lepeuple, Vilmorin27, MarisWidegeon, Atou) contained1-2pair of temperature sensitive genes. The results of genetic analysis showed that the resistance of Vilmorin27to CRY32in the adultstage is controlled by two pairs of dominant genes overlapply or independently. Three QTLs related towheat stripe rust resistance reaction were detected, named QYr1, QYr2and QYr3respectively. At thethree loci, allelic genes of reducing reaction types are from Vilmorin27. QYr1is located on2Bchromosome, accounting for about32%variation of phenotypic. QYr2is located on5B chromosome, accounting for about33%variation of phenotypic. QYr3is located on7B chromosome, accounting forabout8%variation of phenotypic. The three QTLs were mainly controlled by additived effects, accounting for t a total of73%variation of phenotypic.
