| To detect immune mechanism in chicken coccidiosis, dynamic changes ofT-Lymphocytes and CD4+ã€CD8+T-Lymphocytes in bursa of fabricius, caecal mucosa, caecaltonsail, spleen and thymus in the chickens experimentally infected with E. tenella werestudied using histochemistryand immunohistochemistry ABC technique. The results wereas follows:1. The number of T lymphocytes in all immune organs and blood in the chickensinfected with E. tenella increased significantly. T-lymphocytes in all immune organs andblood began to amplify at the second day, peaked at the5th~7th day postinoculation. Theproliferation of lymphocytes can continue18th days. The test approved that the rule ofgiving priority to the proliferation of T-lymphocytes was the substance base which Tlymphocytes had the most role in the immune response to E. tenella.2. CD4+T-Lymphocytes in caecal mucosa, caecal tonsail, spleen and thymus began toamplify at the2nd day, peaked at the6th day after primary infection with the exception ofbursal of fabricus with a peak at the8th day, then declined slowly; Transient decreaseoccurred first at the2nd day after secondary infection, then began a slow increase and alower peak appeared at the8th day, after then declined gradually.3. CD8+T-Lymphocytes in bursa of fabricius, caecal mucosa, caecal tonsail, spleen andthymus began to amplify at the2nd day, with a peak at the8th day after primary infection, then decreased slowly; Immediate increase appeared and soon peaked highly at the5th dayafter secondary infection, then a stable decline was observed. |
