In the paper, the three generations pregnant mouse of feed on the Bar-Gene genetically modified rice, by detecting its behavior, fecundity and its embryonic development, physiological indexes of blood, biochemical indexes of blood and organic histomorphology, aimed at evaluate the safety of Bar-gene genetically modified rice used as a feed ingredient in the pregnant mice diet and provide a scientific basis. Obtained the results as follows:1. Effects of the Bar-Gene genetically modified rice on fecundity and its embryonic development of pregnant mouse120SPF KM mice, that body weight were between18-24g, were divided at random into three groups, as control groups, feeding content is respectively20%,40%,60%of the Bar-gene genetically modified rice. They were rationed by the corresponding rat-feed in the same strain respectively for90days, then female and male mice will be put in the same cage and were matched by2:1. Mice were detected and recorded after pregnancy14-15days, the number of implantation, the number of live births, still births the number of births the number of absorption were recorded. Live births were recorded sex, weight, body length, tail length and appearance of the availability of deformity. Weighing mice and organs weight. The pregnant mice weight gain were observed in mice in each group on0,5,10,15,20d to observe the changes in body weight. The results showed that Persistent behavioral observation of pregnant mice without abnormal behaviors which crawling Cage top, biting cage, suspending, high jump, walkover back etc. The pregnant mice of situation is normal, such as eating, drinking, skin smooth and shiny, not sick and death, growth and development in good condition. In the period of gestation, the phenomenon is not happen which is vaginal bleeding and fluid. After pregnant mice parturition, female mice have response which suckling on instinct. In the period of lactation, the phenomenon is not happen which is killed and fight.The Bar-gene genetically modified rice had no impact on pregnant rats’weight gain; live litter size examination showed that the appearance of the naked eye, head, limbs, tail, trunk, face, palate and lip had no deformities. It also had no impact on skeletal morphology. A magnifying glass were used to check the organ size, shape and location, there is no difference between the2groups. The organs weight were not significantly different (P>0.05).2. Effects of the Bar-Gene genetically modified rice on physiological indexes of blood in pregnant miceWhen pregnancy14-15days,5pregnant mice were extracted venous blood after eyeball were extirpated at each of group randomly. And the venous blood back into the centrifuge tube, rapidly dilute anticoagulant. Some physiological indexes of blood were measured. Three generations physiological indexes of blood of pregnant mice showed that physiological indexes of blood were not significantly different (P>0.05).3. Effects of the Bar-Gene genetically modified rice on biochemical indexes of blood in pregnant miceBefore the start of the experiment, pregnant mice were banned12hours eating. When pregnancy14-15days,5pregnant mice were extracted venous blood after eyeball were extirpated at each of group randomly. And the venous blood back into the centrifuge tube, quickly centrifuge serum. Some biochemical indexes of blood were measured. The biochemical indexes of blood of pregnant mice showed that biochemical indexes of blood were not significantly different (P>0.05).4. Effects of the Bar-Gene genetically modified rice on organic histomorphology of pregnant miceThe pregnant mice were dissected after pregnant mice eyeball were extirpated and extracted venous blood. Small intestine, stomach, liver, spleen, kidney and uterus make organization morphological slice. Histopathological damages were detected in a microscope, take picture in distinctive parts.The experimental result showed that transgenic group compared to control group, organic histomorphology had no significant influence in small intestine, stomach, liver, spleen, kidney and uterus.Conclusion:During the trial period, effect of genetically modified Bar rice on pregnant mice and its embryo development is no significant. This study not only fir safety assessment of genetically modified crops provide scientific reference data,but also for transgenic rice as human food safety evaluation to provide meaningful reference.
