Red soil region of Southern China is one of the five soil erosion parts and it is only second to loess plateau.The Changting county,which located in Fujian province with widely distributed red soil,has the serious and typical soil erosion in the Red Soil Region of Southern China. With the development of research on eco-environment field, the relationship of water and soil loss and Regional economic development has become the new academic focus.Based on "Pressure-State-Response" model,this study selects related indicators reflecting the system of soil and water conservation and social economic in the Changting county in2009by investigation Under the theory guidance of economics, soil and water conservation and ecology etc which purpose is to Analyze the state and security of the system. This paper has adopted the environmental kuznets curves and regression analysis model to study areas of water and soil loss and GDP per-capita in Changting county from1999to2009.Research on the security and Correlation ofsoil and water conservation and social economic system, the results clarifies the harmonious development in system.The results have the strategic and guiding meaning for the formulation of soil and water conservation policies, Overall planning for soil and water conservation, effectively develop the rehabilitation of soil erosion and promoting the sustainable development of soil and water conservation and social-economic in Changting county.
