Nanoscale molecular sieves MCM-41and SBA-15were firstly prepared in this thesis and then methylated MCM-41was synthesized. Bovine serum albumin (BSA) was encapsulated in above-mentioned three host materials. The nanocomposites (MCM-41)-BSA,(methylated MCM-41)-BSA,(SBA-15)-BSA were obtained and then characterized. Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectra indicated that the main frameworks of the composites were in good condition, not being destroyed by introduction of the BSA. The powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) revealed that crystallinity of the composites was fine and the basic frameworks of the molecular sieves have not been destroyed by introduction of the BSA. The N2low temperature solution adsorption at77K revealed that the pore volumes and the specific surface areas of the composites were reduced compared to those of the molecular sieves which were not introduced by the guest. This indicated that BSA had been introduced in the pore channels of the molecular sieves to a certain extent. The ultra-violet-visible solid state diffuse reflection absorption spectra indicated that compared with BSA the composite showed an obvious blue shift. This demonstrated that BSA had already been introduced in the channels of the molecular sieve. The scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) results showed that BSA had been loaded in the channels of SBA-15and MCM-41. The average diameter of (MCM-41)-BSA was100±10nm, the average diameter of (methylated MCM-41)-BSA was110±5nm and average diameter of (SBA-15)-BSA was345±10nm, respectively. The luminescent spectra showed the compound materials have very good luminescence. The prepared materials have potential applicable foreground in blue light laser and catalyst, etc.
